I am continually having pressurisation control problems with this beta 2.25b10. I have made numerous high altitude flights FL350/360 and I am always receiving a cabin altitude audio warning shortly before levelling off. During the climb the diff. pressure stays at 1.0 with the cabin altitude climbing slightly below that of the aircraft altitude and cabin rate slightly higher than schedule rates but not equal to aircraft rate.

Recycling the bleed and pack switches will cause the cabin to descend and the diff. pressure to increase, eventually acquiring the controller scheduled amounts.

Update with 2.25b11

Cruise Alt = 35000
A/S = M 0.76

Events of simulated pressurization failure.

(Failed) Pressurization Loss High -
1. Passenger O2, Press. Alt. Ctrl/Master Ctrl. with Cabin Altitude Audio. No descent drill carried out.
2. Unable to control the cabin altitude manually with Press. Controller set to Manual, outflow valve was workable manually but cabin rate did not indicate a descent, diff press. remained zero at crusie alt.

Fault was reset on IOS panel but the Passenger O2 and the Press. Alt. Controller would not reset and remained failed. All Pressurization Control Panel switches and altitude displays locked out with no response to switch movements, with Equipment Cooling Fans (Normal) lights ON.

Not until aircraft was descended to 10000 ft. were the faults cleared and switches became functional. Now before the failure, why would the aircraft be climbing to FL350 (passing FL330) and the Cabin Rate be descenting at 500 FPM (images attached)? From experience (recall) as a FE on the L1011 and on the B738 the cabin should be climbing based on the Press. Controller's Schedule climb rate to attain and maintain the programmed scheduled Diff. Press. and not be descending.

Their is a problem with the Pressurization program in Prosim, and this is using the latest beta 2.25b11. As reported earlier I had Cabin Alt. warnings on every high altitude flight I made using 2.25b10.

On another test flight:

During the climb to FL350 the FLT.ALT display kept changing by itself to match a passing altitude, when that happened the cabin rate indicator changed from a climb to a descent. After I reset the FLT ALT to the planned cruise altitude the cabin rate indicator changed back from a descent to a climb, this happened a few times.
During the early stages of the climb I also got the CAUTION warning light flashing, and did manage to see later on the PRESS FAIL light flash.
After levelling off at FL350 all remained normal except that if I switched the pressurisation control from AUTO to ALTN or MANUAL and back to AUTO I would get the PRES FAIL light temporarily illuminate. Can't remember if this is normal or not.

Back to 2.24 without any pressurisation problems.

Now using 2.25b12 and the pressurisation problem still exist. Version 2.24 has no problems only this 2.25 beta version.
The Flt. Alt setting changes indiscriminately on its own (both climbing and descending) and affects the diff. pressure, cabin alt and cabin rate; at times it will create a cabin Altitude warning if gone unnoticed. During my climb to FL300 the Flt. Alt setting (30000) changed on it own (FL50, FL250 and FL100 in that order). This caused the cabin to descend during the climb; reelecting 30000 brought the cabin rate back into a climb at the scheduled amount.

This does not happen with version 2.24

UPDATE:

The AUTO FAIL light flashes briefly which causes the FLT ALT to reelect to the altitude at the time of the flash.

UPDATE

The AUTO FAIL light brief flashing becomes more prevalent when a Pressurisation Loss High failure is selected in the IOS.
As explained in my second thread above, this includes freezing of the whole Pressurisation panel which does not resume function until an emergency descent and approaching 10,000 feet.
